The 2008 Annual Meeting and Conference of the American Bamboo Society was held on Nov 7-9, 2008 at the San Francisco Zoo, San Francisco, California. more details Here are the photos that I took of the event. There are about 140 pictures total here so it takes a little while to load up. I did not try to take many photos during the inside presentations - so most of the pictures are of the simultaneous outdoor activities. The pictures begin on Friday, Nov. 7 at the Zoo and end on Sunday, Nov. 9 after a bus tour to the Bamboo Sourcery Nursery in Sebastopol, California. There was a lot more happening than is shown here as I did not photograph everything.
